WHA’s Mel Chotiner Recognized By BOS And Haworth As “Profiles In Design” Honoree

WHA’s Mel Chotiner, Interior Designer, was recognized by BOS and Haworth as a “Profiles in Design” honoree. This program celebrates top talent in Chicago’s design community by highlighting their professional backgrounds, inspirations and keys to success. Mel shared some of her own:

  • Inspired by: Bringing client visions to reality
  • Keys to a successful project: A great project team, clear communication, understanding the clients’ overarching goals
  • Favorite Haworth Collection Piece: Fred desk by Poltrona Frau

Scott Delano, Design Director, nominated Mel for this honor, mentioning, “she designs with a rare attention and sensitivity to the client’s needs, and expresses the client’s ethos and culture in the work that she produces.”

Profiles in Design is an annual recognition event where principals in Chicago’s design community nominate high-performing members of their firms to be recognized, celebrated and profiled. Presented by BOS and Haworth, 2018 was the inaugural year for the program, representing some of city’s most respected interior design and architecture firms.
