Every year, Crain’s Chicago Business recognizes and celebrates outstanding leaders across industries. This year, we’re proud to share that Crain’s Chicago has named Principal Stephen T. Wright a Notable Leader in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction.
This honor reflects three decades of work and the sustained impact of thoughtful design on the built environment. Under Steve’s leadership, Wright Heerema Architects has delivered more than 20 million square feet of workplace development throughout Chicago and the country, creating value for building owners and improving workplaces for its everyday users.
Beyond project work, Steve is actively engaged in the profession and broader community. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and former director of the AIA Chicago Chapter. Steve has served on multiple civic boards in the City of Lake Forest. He also currently serves on the board of the Goldie Initiative, a non-profit organization with the mission to advance women’s careers in the commercial real estate industry.
